The Minburn Public Library has several regular programs for adults! 

 

Book Club

The Amazing Adult Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 11:00am. The library provides the books for the club via Inter-Library Loan. No sign-up needed! Simply arrive at 11am for the discussion and pick up your book for next month. 

 

Adult Craft Club

Adult Craft Club is the final Monday of every month, from 6pm-8pm. The library supplies for the crafts, though free-will donations are always welcome to help purchase supplies for next month. Sign-up is required; please contact the library at least a week in advance if you would like to participate.

 

Wednesday Tech Hour 

Designed for seniors 60+ (though all are welcome!), this come-and-go program occurs every Wednesday from 12pm-1pm. Patrons are encouraged to bring their tech questions to the library, and the librarian will to their best to help. 

 

Morning Walking Club

The Minburn gym (west side of the school, opposite the library) is open early in the early morning* for seniors to walk laps together. A sign-in sheet is provided in the gym; the library asks that attendees sign and date when they walk. 

*the library is not open during Walking Club, as it falls outside of library hours. 

 

All-Ages Programming

The library offers programming for all ages throughout the year!

 

Skate Time (July-August)

The library sponsors free open skating at the skating rink in Meek Park. There are skates available for every size, and all are welcome! Skate time occurs on two days of the week July through August: Thursday , 7pm-9pm, and Friday, 10am-12pm

 

Open Gym (January-March)

The library hosts open gym in the old Minburn school gym during the coldest months of the year. Various balls for basket ball and indoor soccer are provided. Open Gym Occurs January through March, on Fridays 10am-12pm
