The Minburn Public Library's Genealogy Room and Programing Room are available to reserve for study sessions, meetings, and small events at no cost. Please note that private events (birthday parties, baby showers, etc.) must be held during library hours*. 

 

Genealogy Room

The library's Genealogy Room houses the library's collection of Minburn and Dallas County historical memorabilia. The room is equipped with three round tables and three rectangular tables that seat four apiece. It is best suited for meetings and study sessions. 

 

Programing Room 

The library's Programing Room is where the library hosts many of its programs and stores much of its event and programing supplies. The room is equipped with eight folding tables, chairs, and a projector screen. A projector can be provided for use upon request. The room is best suited for classes, larger meetings, or small parties of no more than 35 people. 

 

To check the availability these rooms, please contact the library or stop in during our open hours.

Patrons will be held liable for any damaged, destroyed, or stolen library property. 

Room use is subject to staff approval and may be restricted at any time.

 

*Because of the library's limited hours, we suggest that those seeking to host a private event (birthday party, baby shower, etc.) that falls outside of library hours check the availability of the Old Minburn School's Gym and Cafeteria, which are available to rent for private events. The library is also happy to put patrons in touch with the Minburn United Methodist Church and Minburn American Legion for event spaces with more amenities.
